The Brief
Forsa is a grocery shopping app for the UAE, built around special offers. Shoppers browse fresh produce, dairy, drinks and pantry staples, see the current discounts first and order to their door. Softzee designed and built the Forsa mobile app.
The Challenge
Grocery shoppers in the UAE compare prices across stores and chase promotions, but most grocery apps bury the deals behind long product lists. Forsa wanted an app where the offers are the first thing you see.
Put discounts and promotions at the front of the shopping journey, not on a separate page.
Make it quick to find a product by name or narrow down with filters.
Organise a large catalogue so shoppers can browse by aisle, from fresh produce to spices.
Keep checkout and doorstep delivery simple enough for a weekly grocery run.
The Solution
We designed and built a mobile app in Forsa's fresh green brand, with the offers carousel at the top of the home screen and the rest of the shop one tap below it.

Swipeable promo banners on the home screen with clear discount badges, so the best deals are seen first.
Search and filters
A search bar for any product, with a filter button to narrow results down.
Shop by category
Visual category tiles for Vegetables and Fruits, Dairy and Bakery, Juices and Cold Drinks, and Staples and Spices.
Product pages and quick add
Each product has its own page with photos, unit, stock status and delivery time, plus a quantity picker and Add to Cart. Lists also have a one-tap Add button.
Cart, promo codes and checkout
A cart with quantity controls, a promo code field, delivery fee and total in one view, then a single Proceed to Checkout button.
Sub-category filters
Each category has its own filter chips, such as Vegetables, Fruits and Organic, or Rice, Atta and Flour, Spices and Pulses.
