Architecture for new products
A cloud foundation for a product that has not launched yet, sized for the first year but with a clear path to the next order of magnitude. We avoid overbuilding, which is as common a mistake as underbuilding.
We design cloud architecture that carries your load today and absorbs the next order of magnitude — reviewed against cost, latency, and the failure modes that matter to your business.
Most cloud setups were not designed so much as accumulated. Someone launched a server for the MVP, then a database, then a queue, then a second region because a customer asked. A few years later nobody is sure what talks to what, the monthly bill keeps climbing, and the disaster recovery plan is a hope rather than a test. Good cloud architecture makes those decisions on purpose. It states how the system handles traffic, where data lives, what happens when a component fails, and what it all costs, so your team can build on it without guessing.
We begin with the system you already run, or the one you plan to build. We document the infrastructure, map the dependencies, look at real traffic and cost data, and talk to the engineers who get paged at night. Then we design the target: network layout, compute choices, storage and databases, identity and access, and how the pieces connect to vendors and any on-premise systems. Every major decision comes with the tradeoff written down. You will know why we chose managed Kubernetes over serverless, or one region over two, and what it would take to change course later.
Since 2020, Softzee has designed and run infrastructure for web platforms, mobile backends and AI products serving users across the Gulf, the UK, the US and Australia. For clients in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, cloud architecture often has to account for data residency rules and the local regions now offered by the major providers. We deliver the design as infrastructure as code, not just diagrams, so your team gets a working reference they can extend, audit and review as the product grows.
Infrastructure, dependencies, and bottlenecks documented honestly.

An independent review of an existing setup against reliability, security, cost and performance. You get a written report with findings ranked by risk and effort, not a vague list of best practices.
Redesigning the parts of a system that buckle under growth, such as a single overloaded database, synchronous calls that should be queued, or missing caching. The aim is to fix the actual bottleneck rather than throw bigger servers at it.
Layouts that keep data in a specific country or region while serving users elsewhere. This is common for Gulf companies that must store data in Saudi Arabia or the UAE but also serve customers abroad.
Secure connections between cloud environments, on-premise systems, payment providers and partner networks. We design the networking, private links and identity so integrations stay reliable and auditable.
Backup, failover and recovery designs with agreed recovery time and recovery point targets. We then run recovery drills, because a backup that has never been restored is not a backup.
Every significant choice is recorded in an architecture decision record. Future engineers can see what was considered and why, which makes later changes far safer.
We estimate monthly running costs for the design before anything is built and point out where costs will grow with usage. Surprise bills usually come from architecture, not pricing.
We deliver a reference implementation in Terraform or a similar tool. Your team can deploy it, review it in pull requests and extend it on their own.
We work across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and do not resell any of them. Our recommendation depends on your workload, team and region, not on a partner quota.
Designs with strict network segmentation, encryption, audit logging and in-country data storage to satisfy regulators in the Gulf and the UK.
Architecture that isolates patient data, logs every access and keeps clinical systems available even when one component fails.
Foundations that start lean and cheap but are structured so moving to multi-tenant scale or a second region does not require a rebuild.
Autoscaling, caching and queue-based order handling designed to survive flash sales and seasonal peaks without overpaying the rest of the year.
Event-driven designs for real-time tracking, dispatch and location data, where latency and uptime directly affect drivers and customers.
Sovereign cloud and in-country region designs with strong identity controls, built for public services that must stay available and auditable.
Tell us what you are trying to build. You will get an honest take on scope, timeline and cost, usually within one business day.
Softzee built a scalable platform that makes it easy to discover venues, book wellness services, and check in across Pakistan’s growing fitness network.
Softzee designed a two-sided booking platform that makes it easy for passengers to schedule rides and for drivers to manage trips, updates, and completions in one seamless workflow.
Our team has expertise in 100+ technologies and programming languages, including the AI coding tools rewriting how software gets built.

An architecture review of an existing environment typically costs between $5,000 and $20,000. A full cloud architecture design with a reference implementation in infrastructure as code usually ranges from $15,000 to $60,000. The main cost drivers are the number of applications and environments, compliance and data residency requirements, hybrid connectivity, and how much of the design we implement versus document. We scope it after a short call and a look at your current setup.
A focused review usually takes two to four weeks. Designing a new cloud architecture and delivering a working reference implementation typically takes six to twelve weeks. Larger environments with many workloads, hybrid networking or multi-region requirements can run longer. We share findings and draft designs as we go, so you are not waiting for a single big report.
It depends on your team's skills, your existing tools and where your customers are. AWS has the broadest service range, Azure suits companies already invested in Microsoft identity and licensing, and Google Cloud is strong for data and analytics workloads. For Saudi Arabia and the UAE, local region availability and data residency rules often narrow the choice. We compare the options against your actual workload rather than recommending a favorite.
We look at networking, compute, storage, databases, identity and access, security controls, monitoring, backups and cost. Each finding is rated by risk and effort, with a clear recommendation. You also get a current-state diagram and a prioritized roadmap. The goal is a document your engineers can act on next sprint.
Ask for examples of decision records or design documents, not only certifications. A good consultant will ask about your traffic, budget, team skills and recovery needs before suggesting services. Check whether they deliver infrastructure as code or just slides. Independence from any single provider also matters if you want unbiased advice.
All cloud accounts and resources stay under your ownership, and we work with access you grant and can revoke. Designs follow least-privilege access, encryption at rest and in transit, and centralized logging. Where regulations require data to stay in a specific country, the architecture enforces it through region choices and policies. Nothing is hosted in Softzee-owned accounts.
Yes. We can build the full environment, hand it to your team, or work alongside them. After delivery, we offer periodic architecture reviews to check that the system still matches its design as the product grows. Many clients also use our DevOps and cloud migration teams for the build and move phases.
