Customer support chatbot
Answers product, order and policy questions from your help center and order data, then hands off to your support team with the conversation attached. Runs on your site, in your app or inside your help desk.
We build assistants grounded in your documentation, product data, and policies — so answers are specific, sourced, and safe enough to put in front of customers.
A generic chatbot will happily make up a refund policy. That is the main risk of putting AI in front of customers, and it is the problem our AI chatbot development work is built around. We connect the assistant to your real sources, such as help articles, product data, policies and past support answers, and make it answer only from them. When the sources do not cover a question, the bot says so and offers a person instead. That sounds simple. Getting it right takes careful work on content, retrieval and testing.
Most of the quality in a chatbot comes from the knowledge pipeline, not the model. We clean and structure your content, split it in ways that keep meaning intact and set up retrieval that finds the right passage even when customers phrase things badly. Answers link to their source so customers and your team can check them. We then build a test set of real questions, including awkward and out-of-scope ones, and grade answers before launch. The same tests run again whenever content or models change, so quality does not quietly slip.
We build chatbots for websites, mobile apps, customer portals, internal tools and WhatsApp, in English, Arabic and other languages. Softzee also runs its own AI support assistant for web and WhatsApp, so we deal with the practical issues every day: handoff to live agents, WhatsApp messaging rules, cost per conversation and users who switch languages mid-sentence. We have been building software since 2020. If you need AI chatbot development for a business in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK or the US, we can usually scope it in a single call.

A chatbot on WhatsApp Business that answers questions, shares order updates and collects details, built within Meta's messaging rules and templates. Popular with Gulf and Pakistani businesses where WhatsApp is the main customer channel.
A chatbot for staff that answers from policies, manuals, SOPs and wikis. New hires get answers in seconds instead of interrupting colleagues.
Helps shoppers find the right product, compare options and check stock using live catalog data. Recommendations come from your inventory, not the model's imagination.
Handles questions in either language, or both mixed together, and replies in the customer's language from one knowledge base. Arabic answers are reviewed by native speakers, not just machine translated.
Guides new users through setup, explains features from your docs and flags accounts that seem stuck. Product teams also get a clear view of what users find confusing.
Every answer is tied to a source document, so you can see why the bot said what it said. A wrong answer points straight to the content that needs fixing.
We define the topics the bot must decline and test those refusals as carefully as the answers. A clear no with a handoff beats a confident wrong reply.
Web widget, in-app chat, WhatsApp and help desk integrations are part of the build, using the tools your support team already works in.
After launch we review transcripts, find unanswered questions and fix content or retrieval. You get a monthly report on what customers asked and where the bot fell short.
Order status, returns, sizing and product questions answered from live store data, with handoff to support for exceptions.
Patient FAQs, clinic information and booking help, with clear refusals on medical advice and minimal personal data kept in chat logs.
Admissions, fees and course questions for schools and universities, plus study help bots limited to approved course material.
Product and account FAQs grounded in approved wording, with an authenticated handoff for anything involving a customer's own account.
Booking, policy and destination questions answered in several languages, connected to reservation systems for live details.
Docs-based support and onboarding chatbots that cut repetitive tickets and show product teams where users get stuck.

Most custom AI chatbot projects cost between $5,000 and $40,000. A website support bot built on a clean help center usually costs $5,000 to $12,000. The price rises with the number of content sources, connections to order or account systems, WhatsApp and multilingual support, and how much testing your industry requires. Monthly running costs for models and hosting are separate and depend on conversation volume.
A focused support chatbot usually goes live in 3 to 6 weeks. Content preparation and the test set take the first one to two weeks, followed by build, integration and testing. Chatbots that need account access, several languages or WhatsApp template approval from Meta take longer, often 6 to 10 weeks.
We use retrieval so the bot answers from your content, instruct it to decline when the sources do not cover a question and show citations with each answer. Before launch we grade it on a test set of real and tricky questions, including ones it should refuse. After launch we review transcripts and re-run the tests whenever content or the model changes. No chatbot is perfect, but this keeps errors rare and easy to trace.
Yes. We build chatbots on the WhatsApp Business Platform through Meta's Cloud API or an approved provider. That involves template approval for outbound messages, opt-in handling and the 24-hour customer service window, all of which we set up as part of the project. The same knowledge base can power your website chat and WhatsApp, so answers stay consistent across both.
We usually build on models from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, with a vector database such as pgvector, Pinecone or Qdrant for retrieval. For clients with strict data rules we can run open-weight models on private infrastructure. We choose based on answer quality in your languages, cost per conversation and where data must be stored, and we keep the model swappable.
Ask how they measure answer accuracy and how they handle questions the bot should not answer. A good vendor will want to review your content early, because poor content produces a poor bot regardless of the model. Check that they can integrate with your help desk and channels, and that you will own the knowledge base, prompts and conversation data. Also ask what happens after launch, since tuning from real conversations is where most of the improvement comes from.
You own the knowledge base, conversation logs and configuration. We store data in your accounts or a region you choose, mask personal data where it is not needed and use model APIs that do not train on your data. Access to transcripts follows your team's roles. For businesses in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, we can keep hosting in-region when required.
