Vendors pitch tools, staff experiment with ChatGPT on their own and leadership has no clear view of where money should go first. Our AI consulting services cut through that. We spend time with the people who do the work, look at your data and systems, and come back with a short list of use cases ranked by value, cost and risk. Each one has a rough budget, a running cost estimate and a clear reason it made the list.
We are an engineering company first, and that changes the advice. When we say a use case is feasible, it is because we have checked the data and the integration points, not because it sounded good in a workshop. When we recommend buying an off-the-shelf tool instead of building, we mean it, even though building is what we sell. For the riskiest idea on the list we usually build a small prototype in two to four weeks, so the decision to fund the full project rests on evidence from your own data.

A focused AI opportunity assessment for a small or mid-size business typically costs between $4,000 and $15,000 and takes two to four weeks. Adding a proof of concept usually brings the total to $12,000 to $35,000. Larger organizations with several departments, governance work and training programs land higher. The price depends mainly on how many teams and systems are involved and whether you want a prototype built.
You get a prioritized list of AI use cases, each with expected value, build cost, running cost, risks and dependencies. You also get a recommended sequence for the first 6 to 12 months, a summary of data and architecture gaps and, if included, prototype results. Everything is written for both decision-makers and the technical team, so it can go straight into budgeting and planning.
Not always. If you have one obvious problem and a tool already exists for it, you probably just need help setting that tool up. Consulting makes sense when you have several possible ideas, a limited budget and nobody in-house who can choose between them. For small businesses we keep the engagement short and practical, often one to two weeks.
Check whether the firm actually builds and runs AI systems, or only advises on them. Ask for examples of use cases they recommended against, and why. A good consultant talks about your data, costs and staff adoption, not just models. Make sure the final deliverable is something your team can act on without them.
Yes. A large share of our recent AI work is with businesses in the Gulf, supported from our Dubai office. We understand the practical issues there, including Arabic language quality, data residency expectations and how procurement usually runs. Workshops can be held in person or remotely, in English with Arabic support where needed.
No data goes to any external AI service without your written approval. During the assessment we mostly review samples, schemas and process documents under an NDA. If a prototype needs real data, we agree the provider, region and retention terms with you first, and use masked or synthetic data wherever that is enough to prove the point.
Yes. Softzee builds AI features, agents, chatbots and integrations, so we can take the roadmap into delivery. There is no obligation, though. Some clients execute with their own developers and bring us in for reviews at key milestones, while others split the work across vendors. The roadmap is designed to work either way.
