SkyRoute is an airport transfer service that connects travellers with a vetted network of drivers. Passengers schedule a ride ahead of a flight; drivers pick up the job, update its status, and close it out — all on one platform.
Transfer bookings were arriving by phone, email, and message, and dispatch depended on someone reconciling them by hand. Our client came to us to bring both sides into one system for the following reasons:
— Let passengers schedule a transfer against a real flight time and see the price up front;
— Give drivers a single queue of assigned trips with clear pickup details;
— Track each trip through its lifecycle — accepted, en route, picked up, completed;
— Remove the manual reconciliation between bookings, drivers, and completed jobs.
We designed a two-sided platform around the two people who actually use it: the traveller booking ahead and the driver working a shift. One shared trip record drives both views, so a status change on the road is immediately visible to the passenger and to dispatch.
A short scheduling flow built around flight details — pickup point, time, vehicle class, and a price the passenger sees before confirming.
A focused driver view with assigned trips, pickup details, and one-tap status updates from accepted through to completion.
Every trip moves through a shared lifecycle, so operations can see what is active, what is late, and what is done without chasing anyone.
Accounts, notifications, and trip history built to carry more vehicle classes and routes as the service expands.
SkyRoute now runs bookings and dispatch on one workflow. Passengers schedule a transfer in a few steps and know what it costs, drivers work from a single clear queue, and the operations team stops rebuilding the day from scattered messages.
