The Brief
The City School was established in Karachi in 1978 and is one of the largest private school networks in the region, with more than 500 schools, over 150,000 students and a presence in Pakistan, the UAE, Malaysia, the Philippines, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Its website is where parents register, find a campus, pay fees and follow school news.
The Challenge
When The City School came to Softzee, its website had been compromised and Google was showing spam pages under the school's name.
A keyword hack had injected spam pages into the site, and Google was indexing them under the school's domain.
Malware was spread across the site files, putting visitors and the school's reputation at risk.
The website design was old and no longer reflected a school network of this size.
